Hey Pet Parents in Panama!
We’re a Mama and Maltipoo Team, otherwise known as Marguerite (Mama) and Billy (11-month-old Maltipoo). We moved to Panama City from France in July 2025. This website was built after a terrifying event in Billy’s life in early September of the same year, where we were struggling to find adequate emergency medical care for him. It’s at that point that Mama realized two things:
- There weren’t any high quality online resources for pet parents in Panama
- Other pet parents could find themselves in similar emergency situations, frantically Googling and not finding the answers they really needed when it mattered most
Thus was born a mission – and a website.
Not only do we wish to help pet parents in Panama during an emergency, but we’d also like to share the fun stuff: the parks, the pet-friendly cafes, the places to go that we’ve tried and loved.
From Helping Pet Parents in Panama to Pet Parents Worldwide
Within a few months of purchasing this website domain, two other things happened:
- Billy’s Instagram started taking off
- People began telling us “your dog looks so happy”. Random people. On the street! They would often follow up with a question like “what’s your secret?”.
So Mama decided to share her secrets in a guide called 30 Days to a Deeper Bond with Your Dog“, which is available internationally.
All of a sudden, we had a website, an Instagram, a guide. Our mission expanded: we wanted to help pet parents in Panama find their footing and pet parents around the world deepen their bond with their fur babies.
While this was brewing, Mama was also becoming painfully aware of the plight of street animals in Panama and vowed to do all she could to improve their lives. This is why a percentage of all proceeds from 30 Days to a Deeper Bond with Your Dog and any other digital products will always go to local animal shelters.
